Gayle Walker is the Founder and Principal of Gayle Walker Property Specialists, based in Hobart, Tasmania, with over 23 years of local, national and international property experience.  Her journey in property and previously in London’s capital markets has taken her across the world where she’s honed her negotiation skills, broken area records and formed strategic partnerships and alliances.   

Assessing, selling, buying, renovating, styling, leasing and managing property across 9 countries, 3 continents and 4 states of Australia, Gayle has enjoyed rich relationships, cultures and conversations and had the privilege of helping clients acquire all levels of property as well as maximising their investment portfolios.

​A strong advocate for women in business, Gayle launched her first, award winning, all female real estate agency in 2007.   Foreseeing a growing, global property economy, Gayle merged her business with Sotheby’s International Realty by launching the Mosman office on Sydney’s affluent Lower North Shore in 2015 concentrating on the luxury market.  Relocating to Hobart in 2019, Gayle established a new office for Tasmania Sotheby’s International Realty.

Sotheby’s closure of several Australian offices in 2021, saw the creation of Gayle Walker Property Specialists where Gayle capitalises on her vast experience offering a very consultative, personal service.
