Simone Garske is the CEO of the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) Foundation as the Chief Executive Officer. This followed two decades of working in senior leadership roles at Queensland University of Technology (QUT).
With expertise in major philanthropic campaign strategy and execution, and delivering impact in medical research and donor relations, Simone has been instrumental in leading RBWH Foundation through the most significant transformation in its 35-year history.
The Coronavirus Action Fund raised close to $6 million for national treatment trials and research projects evaluating patient care innovations, healthcare worker wellbeing and the development of testing technologies.
In 2019, Simone was presented the Fundraising Institute of Australia’s Dave Rose Oration Award and in 2020, she was shortlisted for the Pro Bono Impact 25 awards.
