WCEI – TIAW International Forum – 17-18 October 2019
Women Making a World of Difference
Dear WCEI Members and Guests,
We’re delighted to invite you to the TIAW WCEI “Women Making a World of Difference” Forum, in Sydney on the 17th & 18th October, 2019. In keeping with tradition, we have our Opening Reception at NSW Parliament House on the Thursday evening, while Friday’s Forum and the TIAW World of Difference Awards Dinner will be held at the stately Royal Automobile Club of Australia near the Opera House.
In what promises to be a very inspirational day, Friday’s Forum features keynotes from the CEO of OzHarvest, Ronni Kahn AO; former New Zealand Head of Mission and Ambassador to the United Nations, Amanda Ellis; Co-Chair of Richard Branson’s B Team Australasia, Lynette Mayne; and global technology executive, Jamila Gordon.
Our panels feature equally accomplished women (too many to name), including geneticist and artist Dr Melody Caramins, pioneer in Australian women’s sport, Marcia Ella-Duncan OAM, and Femmes Chefs d’Entreprises Mondiales (FCEM) Regional Commissioner for the Indian Ocean, Aline Wong.
Friday evening at the Awards Gala Dinner, we will be treated to a keynote from Natasha Stott Despoja AM, politician, diplomat and author.
We’ll also have the pleasure of mixing and mingling with our equally impressive WCEI and TIAW members and guests as we meet new friends and share stories of making ‘a world of difference’.
Members and non-members are welcome at all events, but places are strictly limited, so please be sure to book early to avoid disappointment.
The Forum will be followed by the WCEI AGM on Saturday, 19th October. Details will be circulated separately regarding the AGM.
