Christine Hawkins AM, FAICD FCPA
Christine is an experienced non-executive director who specialises in supporting all organisations and their directors to achieve outstanding governance. Christine has had 30+ years experience as an executive and non-executive director of investment banks, research and development corporations, environmental management, tertiary education, agriculture, agribusiness, food, health and nutrition.
As a corporate advisor and former economist with the Reserve Bank of Australia, Christine built her own specialist advisory business, Cinnabar International. She has been responsible for several start-ups in a range of industries and has worked in many parts of the globe. Christine recently merged her advisory business with Directors Australia Limited, bringing skills and experience across financial structuring, mergers and acquisitions, strategy and risk, as well as with board mentoring, governance and board performance reviews, to complement Directors Australia’s rapidly growing governance practice. Christine is a member of the Professional Faculty of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, responsible for writing courses and other material and speaking at seminars and events.
