WCEI Queensland Presents – RESILIENCE – at what cost?
February 13 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
In spite of great progress in gender balance across many domains, the past five years have seen major risks to the psychological wellbeing of female leaders, namely:
- Stress and burnout
- Isolation and loneliness
- Imposter Syndrome
- Mental health challenges
- Work life balance strain
- Psychological safety concerns
To overcome these, many of us have built resilience and coping strategies, but at what cost? In building resilience, have we buried deep human needs of connection, emotion and vulnerability in our quest to survive?
Our panel will debate this question on resilience in the workplace and share compelling and inspiring stories through which our audience will learn:
- Strategies to manage workplace stress more effectively
- The key skills leaders have applied to handle challenges and adapt
- How to improve their mental health and emotional well-being
- How to enhance communication and problem-solving skills
- How to boost productivity and focus
- How to build emotional regulation capabilities
- Learn techniques for maintaining work-life balance
