The Brisbane Portrait Prize was initiated in 2019 and has become an increasingly popular annual event. Artists and sitters must be connected to Brisbane and so far, more than 2,500 entries have been received. Everyone loves portraits as they tell stories of our country, our people and our culture. The Portrait Prize engages people with the arts in the most delightful way. Everyone has an opinion, and everyone is fascinated with the process of capturing a personality.

Join us at the Brisbane Powerhouse to tour the exhibition with a Brisbane Portrait Prize board member followed by lunch at the Powerhouse’s Bar Alto.
