Featuring well known Brisbane artist David Hinchliffe, this month’s exhibition, ‘BIG and small’, Hinchliffe represents comfortingly familiar pieces in unison with wild and vast new landscapes. This milestone event marks Hinchliffe’s 100th solo show. It is a true testament to the incredible talent that has made him a master sharing the beauty of life through his paintings.

During the last year, while largely in lockdown, it became evident that we have extraordinary experience, resourcefulness, and resilience within our Victorian WCEI community. Yet often we look outward for knowledge, content and guidance from others. It inspired an idea to tap into the gold of our own high calibre members.

In March 2021 WCEI Victoria members reconnected in person for the first time since 2019. Designed to make you feel like you are in someone’s home, Lumas Gallery beautifully showcases fine art prints and photography from around the world. It provided the ideal space to relax, reconnect and discuss the biggest challenges women face in business.

Three WCEI members Pia Du Pradal, Catherine Baudet and Katrina Goldsworthy will tell the story of how they used their entrepreneurial skills to create new businesses incorporating their passion for art.

In March 2021 WCEI NSW hosted a Diversity & Inclusion workshop and explored the state of gender equity in Australia. The conversation was led by human resource and diversity and inclusion expert and author, Fiona Krautil.

A WCEI members private tour showcased the innovation, excellence and patient care that occurs at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH). An esteemed panel of health care professionals shared research and advancements that are resulting in improved outcomes for mothers, babies and families.
